UNI EN STANDARD 13501-2:2016

The new UNI EN 13501.2:2016 standard on fire resistance has come into force, replacing the previous UNI EN 13501.2:2008.

According to Article 7.3.4.4 of the new standard, the new maximum fire resistance class for raised floors "REI 60" is defined, replacing the previous "REI 30".

Therefore, JVP 4X4 panels with calcium sulphate core (P3 E P4) - already in possession of a test certified by a third party for fire resistance beyond 60 minutes - are officially classified as belonging to the new "REI 60r" class.
